Who We Are

Our History

The Native Food and Nutrition Resource Alliance (NFNRA) is a not for profit 501(c)(3) (submitted application pending) organization created to fully support and build upon the efforts of the National Association of Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (NAFDPIR) by building upon decades of advocacy to strengthen and secure the USDA-FDPIR food package.

Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia.

Our Mission

We are committed to serving the needs of the FDPIR recipients understanding that our Native people depend on a nutritious and quality food package. We realize and understand that for many, FDPIR is the only source of food for multi-generational households that include elders, youth and infant children.

Our Vision

The NFNRA shall advocate alongside our USDA – Indian Tribal Organizations and partners in the battle to eliminate food insecurity. Through strategic partnering and education we shall always support committed dialogue that promotes the building and strengthening of Native food economies, a tribal perspective and the delivery of a quality and nutritious food package.
